"Early in my career, I recognized environmental assessment and protection would become a major priority in permitting industrial development projects, here in Canada and around the world," said Pelletier. The results speak for themselves in the number of permitted projects we've been privileged to work on." Clem as a Partner in ERM will assume the role of President of the new Rescan Environmental Services for Canada as well as Director of the Company.

Rescan's integration into the ERM Group of companies will take place over the next few months and Pierre Pelletier, Rescan's former President and Chief Operating Officer, will manage the transition and assume leadership of ERM's Canadian operations in 2013 as the Canadian Managing Partner. "We now offer our clients added benefits, including access to a broader range of expertise, services and support across geographies and industry sectors."

"Adding 170 plus Rescan staff to our business here in Canada allows us serve our clients more effectively across our strategic sectors: Mining, Oil & Gas and Power. The alignment of business culture and technical capabilities is strong, and together, the sum of the parts is clearly greater than the individual parts," said David McArthur, ERM CEO Americas. "We now have 220 plus staff in the Canadian market, and another 2,500 in the rest of the Americas, and intend to continue grow the business as we always have - serving our key clients across all of our practice offerings."
