Graphic Design
Rescan’s experienced graphics staff is proficient in creating a wide range of accurate, industry-specific diagrams, illustrations and layouts from engineering schematics, facility plans and instrumentation diagrams, as well as maps, flowcharts, graphs and other business drawings using Adobe and Corel graphics programs.
The graphic designers are also well-versed in the preparation of promotional and display materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, posters and brochures.
AutoCAD
Rescan’s AutoCAD expertise includes design of marine outfall systems and treatment plants, cartographic data sets for production of unified maps, solid modelling, bathymetric data analysis, in addition to more conventional applications of engineering drawings, such as the design of piping systems for the petrochemical, electric power and gas production industries.
Other design work has included civil and architectural projects.
Production Services
Rescan’s experienced report production department is proficient in document layout and graphic design. The production team is able to provide high-quality services and prompt turn-around. Paper (or hard copy) reports can be accompanied by searchable indexed CD-ROMs in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format, or by other media, such as video footage (on VHS or DVD), or source data (on CD-ROM). Other past projects have included database design, electronic archiving of historical reports, and preparation of promotional materials such as posters, brochures and presentations for community consultation or project marketing purposes.
