Service Description

Rescan engineers and modellers have extensive experience in numerical computational modelling of fluvial and coastal hydraulics and sediment transport that are applied in environmental analysis, design of engineering structures, and impacts evaluation of engineering interventions.

  • HEC-1 model application to generate rainfall-runoff and stream hydrograph
  • HEC-RAS model application to simulate river hydraulics and predict hydraulic implications of engineering interventions
  • SMS resident model RMA2 application to simulate and predict 2-D coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics
  • SMS resident model SED2D application to simulate and predict sediment dispersion
  • SMS resident model RMA4 application to simulate and predict salinity intrusion, and farfield dilution and dispersion
  • SMS resident model ADCIRC application to simulate and predict 2-D coastal circulation
  • SMS resident model STWAVE application in wave transformation modeling
  • USEPA visual PLUMES model application for dynamic nearfield effluent dilution modeling, diffuser optimization and ocean outfall design
  • Animations, visualizations and 3-D perspective views of model solutions (see above)

The team successfully provided a cost-effective quality numerical modeling solution for all our clients in different parts of the world.
