Rescan is excited to announce that we have been selected as one of Canada's Greenest Employers for 2011.  Launched in 2007, the Canada's Greenest Employers competition is organized by the editors of the Canada's Top 100 Employers project. This special designation recognizes the employers that lead the nation in creating a culture of environmental awareness in their organizations. These employers have developed exceptional earth-friendly initiatives -- and are attracting people to their organizations because of their environmental leadership.

This is the 5th straight year Rescan has won this award. Rescan is committed to positive and sustainable social, economic, and environmental change, on our projects and in our business operations. Rescan’s employee-led Green Ideas Committee has a mandate to find ways to make Rescan’s offices and in-house procedures as environmentally friendly as possible. This committee is responsible for introducing green initiatives to the office environment and to Rescan’s business practices. Many of these green initiatives have shaped the corporate culture and helped to recruit and retain employees. Both new and seasoned employees are inspired and energized by the people they work with and the corporate environment they work in every day.
